Drifting: Car Sports Where More Tire Smoke Is The Winner
Drifting is one of the most exciting game in motorsports. And slowly but surely, more and more people are getting fond of watching and trying the sport. Who can resist the thrill, excitement and he luminosity of cars and drivers performing in every drifting competition. In this sport, speed does not matter, but there should have intense work with the tires. Competitors compete against each other but in a very different way. They also need to make the car slide at an angle, like almost swerving to the sides of the road, with its side moving in the direction of the turn. This should be done with grace and poise. Sounds weird right? But when you witness one, all that you will get is the most exciting feeling in the world.
Drifting was not really a sport as it was first discovered. In the mountain roads of Japan back in 1960s, there was a group of racers called Rolling Zoku decided to race on the twisted mountain roads to be able to set a record time between point A and B. Back then, it was weird for a racing car to drive on rough roads because they are especially made for race tracks. They achieved the time and they went far beyond their limit. This is the time that they discovered car control skills. They’ve found it exciting and outrageous and that is when they started studying the driving technique.
